how much time and effort does it take with your synth?
In my machinedrum UW (which can sample from inputs and can re-sample what you play) this would take me about 10 minutes I guess (allthough more time would be spent actually searching for the snares on my records)
...so I rather load up some snares in my machinedrum (if you want to take it to the extreme I could load up 16 different snaredrums to sound at the same time) cause that only takes me a couple of seconds (eq'ing etc might take another couple of minutes, that's true)
