Captain Murphy Vs Nym - The Beats and The Poll

My vote has been cast.

I agree with Shwell in that your current mood may dictate your choice, although both the beats are good.

Bang literally jumped out of my speakers, it was nice and punchy, but I couldn't imagine the track with vocals.

Pirahna was a more accomplished piece of music, in a commercial sense. Very tough to choose between the two.

Nice work.

For me the piranha beat totally fell flat in the engineering/production department, i feel like the drums had a crappy reverb sound and i don't like that multisampled guitar sound, especially when you here it looping on long notes. It was a really cool composition and deserved to have a more live and acoustic sound, i think the sounds used were a little flat feeling and i lost interest.

The bang beat was just really polished and had a great vibe and sound that tied it all together. It was interesting and original and kept my attention.

Yo Clint, I voted based on the tabs position and not the name. I wanted to vote for bang TODAY. I am putting this here just in case it comes down to one vote, my vote was cast on the wrong one TODAY.... Both were great IMHO, and picking one or the other would be fine with me.

yeah i couldn't imagine vocals over it but... bang i would play in my car whilst going down the street and plus i think it has more character thus not needing any vocals.

but in the end of the day its a battle! and Bang Just sounds more like a battle Beat

You could sense that nym has more drum experience etc
but i think he chose the wrong type of sample for a Hip Hop battle, he needed a banger not a classic
