JJ sequencer is out!

my first impression: hated it

this is defo a toy for what we want to do with it.

i think theres no good reason to even need something like this when theres so many other better options, free ones even.

maybe jj will now get back on the mpc horse.

well i really like it!!well its just beta version 0.54 so its far away from a "fullversion"
and you can save projects!!!!
you can prepare mpc projects with it!!!!
lets see how its gonna grow....i m sure i m gonna cop it!!

well now i wanna know how can i change the tempo and and put my owen samples on the pads..

I just tried it out, it is very buggy, but it is a beta, you can see that he has a load project and save project option that are not available in the beta, i loaded some of my mpc projects containing both program and sequence data by dragging them into the sequencer, they load but do not play back perfect, the long samples cut out after a few seconds while the drums keep playing, I don't know, it looks promising but is definitely far from finished, Ill keep checking back for updates, it would also help if it were completely geared toward the MPC1000 instead of a sequencer for everybody

how do you type out that sound you make when you stick out your tounge, squeeze your lips tight, and blow a bunch of hot air out? anyway whatever. the theory is decent but its pretty primative. maybe in the future.

you see how people get a little desperate when the cash cow starts fading?

it cant load Projects made on MPC yet.. when it does i will give it a try

opened it, couldn't figure out how to do anything but trigger my soundcard's general MIDI piano patch, marveled at the ugliness, closed it, deleted it.

Edit. I installed it on my MAC with XP.

Save the .exe to your Desktop. Click the Icon. It will Load up The Sequencer.
Copy The Projects That You want to use from MPC to Desktop
Open up a project folder you want to work with.
Select all the files in the folder.
Drag and Drop the files to the Sequencer.
Walla



I'm sure once he gets the bugs I will probably use it as a Program making tool. :eh:

it's funny, that a gigabyte of RAM is required to run it.
