yeah no problem - you got me jonesing for my mp here at work . . . . .
you gotta save your beats before you shut it down to either:
a) floppy
b) zip
c) SCSI drive
im assuming youre throwing some sounds on there by sampling or loading through the floppy.
you need to save your .pgm (with sounds) and .mid files. If you make any songs (which you prolly wont for a couple days), or if you have a bunch of sequences that you dont want to sort out you can save the .all (all songs and sequences) file. There is also .aps (all programs and sounds) that you can save.
remember this for the 2k. NEVER EVER save something with motre than 8 letters in the name, whether it be sounds, sequences, or pgm. cause you will run into problems. not all the time but enough to want to get in the habit quick.
