Hehe! I thought it used a gig just to run. Anyway if you can create programs with it it will be worth a look, especially if you can edit sounds within the sequencer.

It reminds me of the days of first seqs like Cubase 2.8 for windows or Cakewalk ProAudio v.5 where .... oooh a rotating knob was something just awesome... maaann..

Who needs this the f*k?.... Please make a Patch Editor for PC for the JJ os2 and XL..
That`s what I call usefull..

I actually like it. It's simple and easy, and I love the idea of being able to keep this program on a memory stick along with a bunch of samples. That way you can mess around and make a sequence to drop into my Mp later. That is of course once you can save programs and the major bugs are crushed...

why would you want to make a sequence with this app, tho? you can't audition how the samples will sound in the MPC program (no filters/fx/lfo/etc...). and you already have a great integrated hardware/software device for making a sequence with the MPC (pads, grid edit, trim screen...)

the only possible value i could see in this type of app for an MPC owner would be to use it to make tweaks or corrections to existing sequences that are very time consuming on an MPC, but this sequencer app doesn't even seem designed to do even that (again: no Program features so you don't know what your tweaks will sound like until you load the sequence back in the MPC). too time consuming. much quicker & easier to just do everything in the MPC.

Can it handle mpc2000xl sequences?

This looks so 95 Maybe I should let it run in a sandboxed windows 95? Maybe my sound would get that original "golden age" 95 type raekwon-meets-mobb-deep sound, too then LMAO

I don't understand all the hate. At the same time, I don't understand what exactly the JJ Seq is. I took a brief look at it. My version doesn't even load I get an error and it crashes.

However, it was open long enough to show a T.correct option. If this emulates the timing correction of the MPC perfectly then I know myself and everyone I know will def. buy this. If it processes audio the same and gives the lower bit MPC sound then that would be dope to!

I can only hope it is an MPC emulator for the PC. Of anyone in the world, JJ is one of the most qualified to make such a thing. IMO, that would be HUGE.

UPDATE : it looks like you can map the midi for stop, record, play etc. too

Yes. I truly love the the 16 bit / 44.1 kHz sound of the two MPC models JJ has been involved in. It´s got such a rugged character compared to my other 16/44 samplers, CD-players, audio interfaces and such. The color of those converters is just outstanding.
