What the hell is wrong with my new 8 out board!!

Do anybody knw why having just installed my 8 out board its acting up all weird???
I send bass drum to output 1 it comes out of output 2!!!
while listening it also intermittently cuts out and then comes back in again!!
Anyone knw anything please help!

You can assign outputs at PART level (in MULTI mode).

You can also over-ride this in PROGRAM mode by assigning particular output destinations for KEYGROUPS (rather than just having them set to "MULTI") and at ZONE level (ditto).

Doublecheck all this, otherwise you may get unexpected results.

Also note that in PROGRAM mode, you set the program to be monitored individually on its own, or as it would be heard in the Multi.

Yeah I wonder if those unexpected results could be what was happening to me disappearing signals etc.

Last time I loaded a bunch of S1000 programs into the 4K and at first I was irritated that I didn't hear anything. Well, things cleared up when I recognized that some keygroups were assigned to the single out 1/2 (instead of the master stereo out)

I love to set Monitor: MULTI. It works well for me. It is cool that you can actually listen and edit in the same time.
