Any of you ever been to one of their events? It's like the old Stacks crew I think. They got a lot of records....

I won't be able to make it this time because I'll be too busy lounging out or hiking in Santa Barbara... but hope someone from on here can make it!

If you need more info I guess just hit up http://www.myspace.com/beatswapmeet

Ah yeah! I hate having to drive to FatBeats to get my hip hop shit now and I end up spending like $200-300.

I know like 7 record shops right here within like 15-20mins of me. Yeah like 3 of my local ones shut down like 2 1/2-3yrs ago Noise NOISE, Goat Hill, Stack's.

lol .. i got mad stories over there at noise noise noise .. that dude dave is a trip. But yeah that was a sad day.. used to have food spots ide hit up before or after those digging missions that i miss too. But one of the worst to close was Arrons! Used to see heads in there early morning status diggin. Made a lot of friends out there diggin. Good times. The bay got some record stores but the good ones are way to expensive or its the same ol ameomba. Ameba got everything you need but thats not the type of record store i enjoy hangin out at.

But hey 714 you ever been down melrose a bit further and seen the record collector store? So many **** records but once again some what under priced. Ran by some straight vinyl junkies .. not the hip hop kind.

But once you got to know Tom he hooked you up and he would show me some different records that I probably wouldn't normally look at.
