scsiforsamplers.com wrote:There is a program for the Kurzweil samplers called KurzSee. It uses MIDI to bring the exact sampler LCD screen up in a window on your PC screen and lets you completely control the sampler via the mouse and keyboard. It uses MIDI control messages to do this and I'll bet it could be done on the MPC as well.
I might look into it as a possibility if you guys think that it would be of any use. If your LCD was gone, would you be okay using a PC to control the sampler?
Although many people use the MPC to get the workflow away form mouseclicking I guess this would be a good temporary solution.
Your post make me think of the MESA Software. It work for the s2000. I think thats a good strating point although the s2000 is a sampler with keygroups, ADSR etc.
I just found another software for editing AKAI samplers over SCSI. Its called Millenium
http://www.rpgfan.demon.co.uk/y2k.htmmaybe the author can give some info on how to work it out for a MPC2000.
