Bug Fixes: OS2XL Ver1.15 12-JUN-2009
----------------------------------------------
Notes: If Input thru is turned ON, when a strange character will be displayed on the value of a parameter (or it may freeze)
It will be repaired if a power supply is switched on pressing the ERASE key.

1. [DRUM GRID]

F2[COPY]+[BAR >]
It does not work.

2. Mono sample will not crossfaded in playback.

3. [AUDIO TRACK]

[PAD LOCATE]
It does not memorize.
This value is memorized by the sequence.

4. [PROGRAM]

Behavior of cursor is strange when changing a track.

5.[GRID]

[TIME SHIFT]
After moving by [SHIFT]+[BAR<>] Strange, when Time Shift is performed.

<Addition>
1. Change of a sequence can be performed if a DATA wheel is turned pressing a pad. (It cannot do during recording and playback)

2. [DRUM PROGRAM]

[SIMULT PAD]( F5[LFO:MUTE] )
The mode which does not record simult PAD was added.
SIMULT1: simult PAD is recorded.
SIMULT2: simult PAD is not recorded. (In the case of SIMULT2, Q-Link works only to the pad of a master.)
Refer to manual.

<Change>
Work of PAD at the time of start end point adjustment of TRIM was changed as follows.

PAD9-PAD12 work, as shown in the following figure.

If PAD1-PAD4 is hit, a sample will be plays by NOTE ON. (St<-->End note on play)
If PAD5-PAD8 is hit, a sample will be plays by ONE SHOT. (St<-->End one shot play)
Moreover, a start or an end point can be adjusted, carrying out audition, if a DATA wheel is turned
pressing a pad (PAD1-PAD4 and PAD9-PAD12).
If PAD1, PAD2, PAD5, PAD6, PAD9, and PAD10 are pressed, cursor will move to St field.
If PAD3, PAD4, PAD7, PAD8, PAD11, and PAD12 are pressed, cursor will move to End field.
If PAD9-PAD12 and PAD14-PAD16 are pressed, the waveform of a play portion will blink.
It works similarly on the screen of F5 (CHOP).

In the case of Non-Destructive Chop ON
When cursor is in the End field, the same play as above figure PAD11 is carried out.

Cool... I just updated. :)

I just wondered if this enhanced Simult is anything close to what the older JJ cats wanted? A compromise maybe, or just straight up better??! I honestly don't know because I jumped straight to XL.

HELL YEAH! That's what I'm talking about J! I just loaded v1.15 and tried out the simult pad and when you set it to simult 2 it seems to work just like it use to. I just played with it for a few minutes but it looks good. Lets just hope there aren't too many bugs resulting from all the updates and changes he made, even if there are it's good to see that he's trying to give us what we wanted. Thanks JJ

thats excellent news. wasnt expecting it at all either... thank you mr JJ.

simult 2:
Recording Even if it hit a pad A01, a pad A02 and a pad A03 are not recorded.
Playback If the event of the pad A01 currently recorded is played, a pad A02 and a pad A03 will also be pronounced.

also
In the case of SIMULT2, Q-Link works only to the pad of a master

why would this be the case if Qlinks are Track only anyway?

Sooty_G wrote:good job JJ!

now all he has to do is fix the q-links and everything will be all set.

...and i don't want to hear that fixing the q-links is 'impossible', because for the longest time JJ said fixing simult was 'impossible' too!

100% agree.

I'm still not touching XL until the Q-Links are sorted.

Simult was never an issue for me and I've always remained positive about all versions of JJ OS, etc. Even the harshest critics have to pay respect for continuing high quality after sales support now.

Once again, well done JJ.
