Am i going to have trouble w/ my new mpc

I've read posts of people saying htat after they sample they hear a click, or some saying that the rhythm is off, i have had mine for three weeks not practicing that much because of work but was just dabbling w/ it and was hearing distortion after trying to record myself drum a loop.. let me know whats up

Check your record level. If it is set to high, you'll be clipping your sample.
