Submit bug reports and feature requests for the JJOS-XL and 2XL

have never bothered with 2nd sequence yet, but are you saying that if both are different lengths then they will loop at different points? the instructions say "A loop works as LOOP ALL altogether regardless of a setup" but thats not clear what is meant.

also, what about saving the two sequences if you like the way they sound together? would that not change the looping (if the answer to my above question is yes)

Got JJOSxl today - fantastic.

But following on from what was said a while back - JJ bring back direct record !!

Ok, my feature request is a good one. I want the MPC to stop recording a sample after a pre-programed time (2 measures for example.) Which will avoid having to trim, or time hitting the record stop button if you already know the BPM of what you're recording.

This was you could easily record loops from an external instrument without any fuss afterwards. It'd be nice to have the option for the loop to start playing automatically at the end of the record phase as well...

I dont know...I may be wrong, but I was able to record directly to an Audio Track from my Analog Inputs while the beat was playing.
I just set the track to "Audio" instead of Drum or Midi. Hit record, and boom!

You know what I do... When Im finished wit my beat, I bounce a 4 or 8 bar loop from song mode to a Wave File and save each of my entire projects in its own folder. So when Im scrolling beats in the Load Screen, i could preview each beat. Kinda overkill but it helps when Im lookin for that beat i made months ago

^^^ Sounds like a good idea, although being able to audition sounds while the sequence plays would be a great feature.

add PAD Pattern Mode that changes volume starting off low and climbs louder or being able to call back "drum rolls and fills" from midi sequences made by the user by pressing the pad. What I mean is if you recorded a pattern like riffs, arps, rolls and fills and being able to trigger the beats, melodys, samples or midi songs by pressing one pad.And being able to set each pad to poly, mono, sample lenth and freeze.

DDJSim Mode A digital turntable simulator w/1in-2out channel mixer/scratch recorder and bpm finder that will play samples and midi patterns like TRIM Mode forward and backward and loop.Press the pad to start the sample from 1 of 16 cue points and release the pad to stop the sample you can use 1-8 for note on playback of the sample and 9-16 for one shot playback then means after the pad is released the sample will play until the pad is hit again. The jog wheel can be use for selecting the position of the playing audio like on the the older cd dj player and the slider 1 can be the master volume, deck 1 volume,fx 1 send and 1 filter send.A step sequencer so that you can see events when creating mixes and being able to seek with jog wheel without rewind or fast-fowarding the audio.Slider 2 can be the crossfader and record speed.RCA 1in/1out for simultation with cd dj player and a mixer for second virtual turntable. For Os2 & Os2xl for$60 as an add-on

I know my idea r crazy

I would be happy if its possible to choose an source before my pc mounts a mpc drive via usb:

something like:
1)go to LOAD
2)select USB
3)pick if MEMORY CARD or HADDRIVE
4)press ok (after ok is pressed, usb connection is realised)

now when i press usb, it automaticly mounts my memory card so i have to unmount it, select hdd and wait for new mount....-its boring :-(((

Eject it when you mount your hard drive and your 'problem' is magically solved.
