why can't onboard effects in the mpc be recorded when tracking out. i know you can resample every part of a beat you made and then track out but is this like a hardware limitation or something. like what's the point of even having the effects if your just going to track it out and do touch up work in a DAW. i dont know anything about programming or stuff like that but would it ever be possible to include the effects when you track out. like could this be an update in the jjos? just curious.

The onboard mpc effects are outputted thru the stereo outs and headphone out only. So you would need to track out an effected sound using these outputs instead of the individual ones. It's the same thing with jjos.

okay so if when i tracked out i used the stereo outputs then i could have th effects. okay. i was considering getting pro tools so i could do all that stuff in the DAW i think that might be what i wind up doing. i have reaper now but i hate how you cant edit a clip in the program and that you have to use an external editor. thanks ocular
