This is the setup I currently am running with the akai.
Roland TD-6V Drum brain > Akai MPC-500
The drummer is triggering the akai pads using his PD-8 rubber pads that are hooked up to the Roland drum brain.
samples are anywhere from 2-8 measures of a song (keyboard parts, etc)
Here's the nightmare scenario:
We are playing the song, and he hits the pad at the wrong time in the song. [PANIC MODE]
Is there a way to set it up so that if he hits the pad again it will stop playing the sample?
Currently if you hit the pad again it will just trigger another sample that will play "on top" of the one before it.
