Ok so I'm using logic as a sound module basically.....the mpc is the sequencer using my virtual instruments as the sounds...the thing is with this set up logic doesnt record the midi data going into it this way...all the midi is on the mpc...I'm trying to export the midi information from the sequences but have never managed to do this successfully on the mpc2500....If i have a track with like 8 tracks logic will be like only 1 track successfully upload and so on...what am I doing wrong?

Basically I'm doing what dude is doing in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-GXwMUXeSM

there are 2 midi standards, 0 and 1. I suggest you google on that.
In one standard , all midi information + midi channel is included and you will see it as one midifile in Logic (midifile i MPC is the 'sequence' file)

Look for a function in Logic like (in Cubase) 'dissolve' this will create a miditrack for each MIDI channel out of your 'sequence' file
