Contrast for main screen .....

... Is it possible to adjust the contrast for the main screen. I know you can adjust the brightness - which I've done - but I need to change the contrast also ( my screen is getting a little faded in it's display ).

Also, one last thing, can the metronome click be adjusted in it's volume on the MP ? I've looked around and read the manual, but it seesm you can only mess with the -12db, -6db or 0db settings, which effects everything else ...

Sorry for the questions, but a little help would be appreciated for the sake of speed from those in the know. Oh, I am still using the Akai 2.11 OS ( I know, I know, I should be over with JJ, but the Akai really is more or less fine for my needs right now and the all important midi to daw sync works pefectly for me as is ). I did do a basic search on these matters, but didn't come up with much ( admittedly, it was a very short search ).

Just seems odd that you can change the brightness but can't affect the contrast to sharpen things up ?

well as far as i know thats the way youre supposed to adjust contrast.

Well, just found out that you can't seperately alter both the brightness and the contrast on the 1000. Akai only allow you to change what they refer to as the 'contrast', which is a mix of both brightness and contrast. I would of liked to be able to adjust each individually, according to my own preferences ... but, never mind. I guess I may have to buy a new screen at some point ( mine is starting to fade a bit ).

by the way youve to hold SHIFT and turning DATA WHEEL...
