^ this will work to sample sounds from the microkorg into the MP, but if you want to be able to use MIDI to link the two, you would hook it up as follows:
MPC midi out A - MK midi in
MK midi out - MPC midi in
then, set up a sequence and make one of your track set to midi A1 (that's midi input A, channel 1). The MK is not a mutlitimbral sound module style keyboard like the Micro X, so you will only need one midi channel for it.
Now, with this setup you will be able to record the midi information for a keyboard sequence into the MP's sequencer, just like you would a pad sequence. Then when you play your pattern back, the MP's sequencer will trigger back the same thing you played before on the MK (except possibly quantized).
