Ok, I'm fairly new to the mpc 1k, I'm used to an mv. I have searched this all night on the forums, no dice. I simply want to press on the pad, hear my sample, have the sample keep looping as long as I keep my finger on the pad. Please dont tell me to press the note repeat...its simply a drum roll. I press loop in the sample editing screen, nothing. I did the whole press the numeric key while the cursor is on a numeric option, no dice. I tried the press shift while in the note repeat options to change the option of the note repeat, no dice. On the MV i could simply change the sample from one shot to full or forward and done. I could be misunderstanding all the advice or I could be getting some terrible advice on the web. I could really use some help here, thanks in advance.
