I need help Just got a mpc 2000 classic!

Hi im new to this mpc been using fl studio and reason!

i wana know how can i connect my turntable and mpc to a mixer then to the interface i have a m-audio firewire 410. but i wana sample from my turntable into my computer then chop up and pitch and timestretch with recycle then put it in a zip and bring it to my mpc to make the beat there. then bring it out to protools to sequence it there??

can anyone please help ?

You will need either MPCEditor (PC), RS-16X (Mac) or Translator (either platform) to format the Zip disk in MPC format and put the wav file on it (it will get converted to a SND file by the program you use). Alternately, you could get the wav file into the Classic using a diskette if the wav file will fit on a single DOS-formatted diskette.

thx for your reply but how would i hook my tables mpc and mixer to the interface so i can sample from my turntable to my comp or shoul di just sample it to the mpc and then bring it to the comp aand do the work there?

I'm not really qualified to answer that type of question. I stick to the storage end of things and leave the operational questions to the people with more experience in that area (which is about everyone, as I've never owned an MPC2000).

Hook up the tables to the mixer, the mixer to the mpc, the mpc to the computer.....

lemme get this straight u want to make the beat on the mpc and sequence it in protools? Essentially, sequencing is making the beat in the mpc, do u mean you just want to track it out into pro tools? if so it all depends on how many inputs ur interface has and how many tracks you use.
