both incoming should be switched on as default, but mode+pad9 and the 'midi' tab should let you tweak the settings to taste

cheers for help bro,

well it's strange, because on my screen I see only midi channel inputs setup, from all to separate 1-16...
and that's my question
Where (is it possible) I can change physical MIDI inputs ???

or maybe where is info in manual...?

what version are you on? its not exactly in the manual, but from the midi screen F1 takes you to the midi tab which has various settings

partly, yes...
but I use Qlinks extensively,
it's my main weapon... I use sample start for a pad only
I sample longer sample, 8-16 bars
and then assign same sample to 4 pads and use Qlinks to kick'em ...
I play with mpc, move slider until I find couple sweet spots....

well that's me and I don't want to change it
I will buy OSXL next day
but JJ need to update Qlinks first
and add a proper manual
without it it's over 100 bucks spend for a half product...

just mu 2 cents

Yeah...
I'm interested too - what is a point in two midi-ins if there is no multi in JJ?

Besides, I cannot understand why it is so hard to implement, because MPC sequencer can play different tracks with different sounds. So why midi input cannot be routed to different tracks? It is very annoying when I'm editing midi on DAW and I need to change active track and solo/mute tracks in DAW and cannot listen it altogether.

Using XL.

i've already been thru this with JJ when XL first dropped: qlinks will NOT be fixed in 2XL. he made too many low level changes and he sacrificed the qlinks to get them working.

i recommend os 2. has the working qlinks plus all the ADSR goodness, GRID EDIT improvements, interface improvements, plus a ton of other stuff. plus i still manage to get him to add a little tweak to it here and there.

since you are on the 2500 you have to get the whole package deal, but don't look at it like you are paying all of that money for XL, you are really paying for os 2.

i use the two midi is so that 1) can have my controller keyboard attached, and 2) can also record midi data coming in form any other device.

rather than for multi-timbral use
