Before my cf reader (2kxl), mpc editor was the single best thing I've ever done for my mpc.

Download it and install it. When you open the program there should be a button that says Order Online, I assume you click it to buy a registry number and once you have that just type it in the little box.

And for good notice; this program has been developed by a member of these boards so asking around for a free registry code around here, will get you banned. Please don't see this as a threat or whatsoever it's just a well meant warning. It happened too often in the past that peeps started to ask for the code amongst fellow forum members.

These forums don't appreciate warez talk.

It's one of the best investments I ever made for my MPC.

FINALLY got my card reader up and running and used MPC Editor for the first time today. Sh*t is beyond necessarry if you want to utilize the best of both worlds (computer/plug ins etc & the MPC). I compressed and chopped some drums then sequenced them in the MPC and it came out lovely. I think I'll be making my donation to midicase asap.

Yeah, for something so small and cheap, it is great. There's really no excuse NOT to have it.

That program needs an update bad. SHould be able to drag and drop samples from anywhere on the PC and the explorer should be in XP style not Win2k.

MPCEDITOR is very expensive for what it does, for 30 bucks it needs at least an update, it crashes very often in XP SP 3 a and Vista. I will not complain if free, but for 30 $... Come on!
