How To Get More Programs

Hello there,

I've just got an MPC500 and I was wondering where the good sources of samples/programs are?
The free ones are good for getting basic ideas down but there are only a few.
Also, is there a program on the PC I could use for making my own programs from a collection of wavs?
I have some roland sound modules I could multisample and I would like to try making one of my
guitar through my marshall.

create your own programs, nobody gonna giv you programs.

sample breaks, loadsa breaks. build up a library and then you can use a software called "bluebox" or "MPC Editor" to create these programs on your pc then stick em in your mpc and away you go man.

Oh, I've got some roland samples around from their orchestral CD's.
There are wav files and also a file in some bizarre Roland format (their equivalent
of .pgm). I should be able to make programs for them too

I found this to be the best ,as it doesnt get confused over pad/musical note mappings like Blue Box
It runs on Java , so should run on Mac or PC as long as you have Java installed ( JRE from www.java.com)
Its also easy to setup mullti layered samples very easily too!

oh annd you can set pads for 12 mpc500 or 16 pads on other mpc's

too quiet for me though so we moved back to london.

I dont have much sounds for mpc atm , but will be creating soundsets with original bass, piano and guitar loops played by me
Here is a quick pattern created using
Pad bank A - drums
Pad Bank B-Rhodes piano chords
Pad Bank C-Synthbass sound from Mopho synth
Pad Bank D- guitar loops played by me
