THE MOST OVERLOOKED FEATURE IN 2XL

The CHORD feature is the ish and i'll tell you why: go grab a piece of sheet music or go on youtube and write down the chord progression of your favorite song.

1. Input the chords to the pads (ie. CM7 Am FM. . .)
you can even add more complex chord formulas

2. Plug in a midi keyboard or sound module

3. Hit the pads and voila! ! ! !

THIS IS GREAT for covers, remixes, original tunes that need cool chords. . .

HAVE FUN! ! !

i dont know i just play the chords. i was never a fan of gear that did the work for you. it always lacks the human feel. but thats just me.

music should be fun not difficult. i agree the machine should not do the work for you, but this helps you to build a foundation whether you read music or not. it helps to expand your capabilties and with some creativity you can create a human feel or groove. take some time to experiment. . . . ENJOY

is there a way to offset each note in a chord? fiddly yes, but isn't everything.
i don't think i've ever REALLY played a chord where all notes played at once.

i'm still yet to try xl, i use jjos1.

not to be insulting, but that's what a chord is : more than one note played at the same time. though when exploring this feature in 2XL, yes, you can offset the chord with the q-link sliders:

1. you can adjust the duration and arpeggio. the duration is how long the chord is held.

2. the arp creates a finger roll effect or true interval spacing all in real time!

3. there is also a repeat function where you can select how the chords repeat in time. so if you want the chord to play on beat ---> easy, just hit the pad. if you would like to offset, go into edit after you've recorded the chord, choose which notes to offset( of the chord) and presto!
