That's a damn good deal price wise but I am sure everyone is gonna tell you to keep your 1000 cause it's better but it's what works best for you and not everyone else.

It's a pretty safe bet that if you didn't like it you could sell the 3K and buy a new 1K and probably some chocolate with the change, so there's not much risk involved. Sounds like you'd have more regret if you didn't do it, so do it. Then when you regret it, try to remember it would have been worse the other way round.

i have one question tho.. i know the way you chop samples is different on the 3000.. is it a BIG difference? is it more complicated or more non-user friendly?

Not really harder to work on.
Sold my 1000, No More Nukai crap for me.
even my trusty old 2000 felt better to me

The 3k ain't that hard to work with. Your just limited that you can use only 1 program at the same time. and chopping with it is not like on the 1k with zones, you got to copy your sample and set your zones manually (or sample the slices 1 by one)
Also I like the sound of the 3k WAAAAAAY better than the sound of the 1k 2.5k (nukai shit)

You wouldnt be asking these questions if you did your research, no offence, but that what it looks like. Personally i wouldnt do it, you are gonna miss soooooooooo many features it is not funny anymore.
