So the problem is: i want to buy new wires, to save my beats from akai to mbox 2 pro, firstly I want to buy spdif wire, but
one man told me that analog 8 a/outs will be more true , than spdif. ???

so what and why you use ( spdif or 8 a/outs ) ?

thanks

i use spdif if just two tracking shit, but use the 8 outs when tracking out in combination with spdif so i have line level.

cool thing about spdif is out = L + R, so if you want to hard pan by frequency, you can send higher freqs to L and mid-lower freqs to R and record in stereo and EQ in the daw

use 8 outs + assign samples to hard pan left and hard pan right and you have 10 outs.

I used to place my mpc main outs into my triton active line in, and triton toslink out (optical 2 ch) into digi 001 toslink, using the triton as a mixer. Also very efficient.
