my scsi drive isn't working...

i used the search but all i find are 3000 issues. i just got my mpc back from having the power supply board replaced and i hooked up an external zip drive i got from scsiforsamplers and my mpc won't read it. the id's match, all the cables are secure both inside and outside. i don't know what the problem is. but this is giving me a headache.

actually.. i wasnt trying to shoot you down if thats what you think.. the fact that the drive is from you is irrelevant. everybody trusts your stuff so thats good enough for me. its built like a tank so i'm not worried about it. I think its either something im doing or not doing or theres something physically wrong with my mpc. i did burn out the power supply board a month ago. who's to say i didnt damage anything else? sorry if it looked like i was pointing a finger at you. not the case.

oh it might help clear things up to add that i also tried hooking up a syquest external drive... and that didnt work either
