I saved a drum sequence as a folder in the drum kits section of my memory card that came with my mpc. When i tried to load the sequence into sequence 2, which had sunny loaded into it already, the mpc crashed and froze up displaying CPU Addr (Read) PC (884b0660) Hmmm... Well thought id let u guys know. Have a good one -Alex

I hope its working properly now...

but spare a thought for some of us others - when my Beat Thang encounters a memory error it just tells me to go f*** myself. I cannot believe I paid money for this particular item :(

This used to happen to me here and there when I first started. My advice to you is to keep everything RELATED.DO NOT MIX AND MATCH different sequences from other projects.

Work on ONE PROJECT/PROGRAM/SEQUENCE at a time DON`T MIX AND MATCH.

Also SAVE SAVE SAVE every little change you make as you go along.

I work this way and never experience crashes.

sidenote I would ERASE the preset songs/sequences too.
