Why no mpc 4000 books?

I've seen books covering the 2500, 2000xl etc (e-books) but why no 4000 book?

Why is the 4000 so left out of everything? It seems like when I goto any site to get a tutorial and insight on this machine, there are only books on 2500, 1000, 2000xl etc, there seems to be nothing out there.

The 4000 is the flag ship MPC.. so why the hell is it so negated?

This forum and one other website are the only places I have learned anything from, although these sites are very helpful - I would like a book I can print out, sit down and relax and read from.

Where in the hell are all the 4000 resources!?

Most people that buy/own a 4000 already know how to use it very well. Those that don't will automatically move to something "easier".

Not to mention the 4000 is prolly the least popular MPC in terms of lifetime sales.

I believe the reference manual explains the sequencer and pad functions pretty well. But when it comes to the sampler and its parameters any basic guide on full samplers including soft samplers can get you up to speed on it.


Remember alot of major samplers are based on hardware keygroup samplers they both work the same. If you learn one you can get the other down pat.
