sample question

might be a newbie question BUT I LOOKED, question if I have some samples choped up how do I get them to stop playing behind each other Not the poly thing I know that just when I play them in order I want the next pad to stop the previous. Please help its slowing down the creativity thanks

It is the Poly thing, but not really.

You're supposed to highlight the "Poly" section of a sound and press "Open Window".

Then the next screen will let u cut off up to two sounds/pads by pressing one.

Open up the Pgm screen, hit (for example) pad 2, then go into Params. Scroll the cursor down to Mute Groups, and then hit the pad/pads you want pad 2 to mute (I assume you want pad 1 to be muted).

Repeat the process. Hit pad 3, go into Params, scroll the cursor down to Mute Groups, hit pad 2.
