Ever since the news got out that hip hop is dead,

People are spending more of there time complaining about the game and not listening to hip hop anymore.

I guess its the new cool thing! to say, hip hop dosent have talent anymore and to critique new styles as an attempt to real hip hop.

what i hate more then a hater, is a hip hop head stuck in the 90s man, You know those cats that cant accept new shit , kus they think IF it dosent have that 90s vibe and flow its not REAL hip hop

Hip Hop heads that only respect a certain style and that are just real picky about shit while ignoring the fact that its music

Its like the type that Would hate on DETOX if it came out ...NO MATTER HOW GOOD IT IS.. theres to many heads out

LIke bag pipes from bagdad.. for me This is another magic track that takes me back. this was a good track when it hit me . it had the dr.dre vibe em was entertainging 5/5 for my taste in music

well im stuck in the 90's and im gonna say most music nowadays is bullshit. yea its hip hop but its bullshit. nobody is original. everybody is on the same shit. every beat is startin to sound the same and every rapper is rappin about the same shit. and to make things worse most of them are frontin. me personally i not gon give attention to a lyin ass ni@@a. i dont fuk wit lyin ass ni@@az so why would i pay for a ni@@a to tell me 60min worth of lies and bullsh!t. that shits not the same as a movie actor or a wrestler. they do it for entertainment, these rap ni@@az really want you to believe they bullshit then they tell you if you aint about what they rap about u beneath them. thats why i could give a fuk about being a ''rap ni@@a''. that shit corny fam. its like being a clown amusing a bunch of shallow muthafukaz.

but i can agree that alot of ''hip hop heads'' are one minded which also eats me up. there's too many of them that make music that arent willing to try make a difference. i dont like bullshit hip hop but i dont sit around complaining about it neither or shittin on every rapper i dont like. mainly because i respect them as a man and i understand the hustle. that truley is some hater sh!t and hip hop heads need to learn how to separete themselves with the artist/hater shit because u never kno where u might end up. hip hop is far from dead and i cant believe people still feed into this concept regardless of the sides.

i dont even give a fuk about detox anymore. this ni@@a takes to damn long. ive had 2 kids (7 and 3 going on 4) and this ni@@a just now droppin a single and im still not sure if its a detox single. i care more about what im tryin to do than wtf dre got going on.

Once we allowed money to get in the mix, that's when everything went downhill. 1998 was the last year when real hip-hop really meant something, and don't mix up what I'm saying like nothing decent ever came out after that. When Puffy entered the game, it started going downhill. How many folks do we all know that wanna run a label by themselves and act like no one can tell them schyt. When No-Limit entered the game, we all know people who tried to be like Master P without a master plan. When Cash Money entered the game, no name producers on the internet started boasting how they made 20 beats a day. I can go on, but the main thing is that money is killing the real Hip-Hop that needs to be heard.
Another thing is the complete lack of respect that we have towards each other. Kids are entering the game on some "that ***** 26 and still rappin!" WTF is that about??? Or just the fact that guys like Talib or Common are labeled "conscious rappers" while the media portrays guys like Lil Wayne as a "Hip-Hop artist" is just disrespectful! You can't even play a beat for someone without them reacting like, "but yo! Check out MY BEATS" just to hear some horrible azz bullschyt. I was at a show the other day, and there was a group that performed, and they were dope...really good! But the crowd was just looking at them when the set was over..no reaction, but when their friends entered the stage, hands were in the air...not because the music was good, but because they knew the people on the stage. That's bullschyt! People act like they can't show support. Even if the music is BANGIN', a lot of time, the crowd will just sit there with a blank look on their face.
One more thing and I'm done..why do folks grade how good an artist is by record sales? Who made Lil wayne the best rapper? People need to stop worrying about album sales and focus on the content. Neptunes have sold beats for $100,000, won grammy's, but not one of their songs can compete with what Nottz has done for Busta and the Flipmode. Nothing Jazzy Pha has done has touched hearts like what Dilla did for Tribe, and nothing "play-N-Skills" has ever made can phuck with anything Kev Brown has made. Lets stop worrying about the money, and do shit because we love it. Phuck a record deal, and distribution, that schyt is ol-skool. You can do what you want, when you want, how you want by yourself now. No one has to make you wear lipstick, shiny pants, and pick your songs anymore.

Everyone's doing the same damn thing- adding friends, not because they listen to the music, but because they want to post a comment requesting feedback...now, I've been guilty of it myself in the past, but not on the scale of some of the jokers I've run into on there as of late. Everything sounds the same. Everyone's name seem the same. Everyone's pictures look the same. No one stands out. Maybe I fall into this category as well, who knows...thinking about deleting my page.
