Nice room! But do you need that much weight on your turntable's needle?

hahah i knew someone would notice that... my friend came and jacked my needles cause he doesn't have any, so i took the weight off because i didn't want it all up in the air, and the clip is broken because my MKII is a piece.

I run a hip hop show friday nights from 10-midnight on St. Thomas radio during the semesters, pretty chill but it's fun spending a couple hours behind the decks over the air!

Been fiddling more, on the list is still two compressors (DBX and Drawmer preff), super bass station and a fx rack...also picking up a MOTU 828 cheap from a friend next month...not sure where to put the PC yet though lol
I should mention that yellow is not my choice in colour for the walls but that's how my bro left it..I just kinda moved in there like a parasite lol

Just received this! Like a SP-303 on steroids. Really like messing with it! Lot less hiss (works with a higher internal volume than the 303) Copies sounds and sequences + 4 track sequencer is dope. I like the pad accent feature, so that I can record ghost hi-hats, snares kicks etc. get more dynamic drums. Large internal memory, not limited at all, can store 16 beats on a card. All I can say is D O P E ! ! ! Good little feller for a small price. Worth every buck!

Unfortunately it's not battery powered. But I'm cool with that. The SP-202 and 404 is tho', but the 202 don't have a sequencer, and I don't miss the SP-404 I sold on (didn't quite like the sound, feel and look of the 404). And the 202 or 404 definitely don't have a informative display with visual waveform editing (not really necessary to me tho'), peak-detecting auto chopping, pitch-shifting, BPM-sync, song-mode and more of the 505's good stuff.

But the 505 is really a small piece, and it barely weighs anything. The power adapter weighs more than the sampler itself I think. But it's really portable, no problem fitting it in any backpack.

^ Yeah they use smart media card, but they, like my 303, can use smart media to xd adapters so you can use up to a 128mb xd card instead.

This may sound wack but I heard these sound very gritty and dirty (Zoom sampletrak st 244) It's old skool baby

This was my first ever sampler I played on..so long ago I can't even remember what it sounded like lol but it was good for live mangeling of the sound with the fx and what have you much like the SP-303
