JJ OS Feature Requests (ARCHIVE)

I just got the JJXL for 25K, I'm just curious why when you press the f3,f4 track up and down buttons it would move to highlight the sequence, then have to cursor down to choose program again. seems quight counter productive.

In OS2XL I'd like the parameter ALL to be remembered when you go from GPE to main screen and vice versa.

COSIGN. this is something that has always bugged me.

good for live tweaking with the q-links.

i'm going to email this request to him.

the only thing i would request right now is that you could change
the volume from 80 to 100 when you start the mpc up.

or am i the only one ?

Got a response from Murai, it seems that new features won't be added in os2xl until JJ sequencer 1.0 is out.

oh well...

use usb (copy in/out in background)
hdd or cf (simply the target drive) will be not available for load/save while usb in progress in backgroud but the rest of the mpc is still working normaly

PROG MODE for INST programs...so I can adjust sample loop points without bouncing between TRIM and PROG mode. Annoying...

The smalest part wich will be shown as midi in Grid Edit Track Mode is the 1/4 of the bar.
If there is even one midi recorded in the 1/4 of the bar, that part of the bar will be shown.
If there is no recorded midi in the 1/4 of the bar it won't be shown.

When creating a Multisample-Instrument program with multible velocity layers it is really a pain in the ass if you want to change the velocity areas, because you have to do it Pad-by-Pad. Maybe JJ could ad a feature to Instrument-Programs to allow Velocity Layers and to change the ranges of the velocity areas for all Samples together.

That would make it much easyer to create velocity sensitive Multisample Instruments in OS2xl

just an idea...

I want Momentary Track Mute/Unmute --> The track is only muted when you hold down they key, or the track is only unmuted when you hold down the key.

I would use it most often with Unmute--The track would be muted normally, and then you would hold down the pad to unmute it (play a quick snip from that sequence), and then release to go back to being muted again.

You can sort of do it now by just doing a tap tap to unmute and then back to mute, but having the momentary would make for more live mixing options.

I'd like to be able to change type of an empty track while playback/record is running.
At this moment, i can select a track number to make a new track but i am not able to set the type (drum, midi, arp, chord etc) until i stop the playback... its boring...
