MPC on a plane?

Hi

I need to take my MPC 3K with me on a 4 hour flight to Berlin. I have an Anvil road case but I'm afraid it would get damaged through regular post. The case is too big to fit in the overhead compartments and shipping it through companied such as DHL or fedex is ultra expensive. Now, I remember seeing a guy one time in the reception desk at an airport with a huge cello. Is there a way to take the MPC in the planes luggage and receive it after landing like you would a pet? i.e without being thrown out of those conveyer belt machines?

this is why im glad i have a 500 and use software, i make beats on the plane! I hope you find a way. when i moved i flew, i had to change planes too, my turntables were in flight cases needless to say they have been **** up ever since. maybe you should call the airline and find out... good luck homie..

With the airlines I usaully fly with you can tell them in advance you hav musical equipment with you. They have a seperate compartment or something for stuff like that. It will cost you some more, but it is worth it.

BTW, what happens if it's not a musical instrument? I need to transport my iMac as well.
