S950 problem..

anyone ever experience a problem with their 'Line Input'? I've tried a bunch of things, but I'm only getting sound out of the left side of my headphones/amp/monitors when i monitor, sample, and/or playback.

Is there a balance control somewhere that i can't find? The manual's about as useful as a submarine with a screen door.

thats the way it is. its a mono sampler

i understand that, but when I sample in mono on my 3K, I can still monitor/play/hear my sample left AND right.

yeah, i experimented with that. i'm still only hearing and 'one side of things' when i sample and playback. i'm starting to think this thing's broke.

its the way the outputs are... its got 8 voices or polyphony, you hear the first 4 voices thru one output, and voices 5 thru 8 come thru the second output... try it, hit a bunch of notes that will overlap, and you will hear the latter notes coming out of the other output and hence the opposite side of you monitors!!! this is if you have it set up for outputing thru the l+r stereo outs... i havent messed with using the other outputs yet though...
