Just wondering if anyone makes Prodigy style beats with MPC?
If so what methods do they use? Do they chop breaks and sequence or do they use the MPC to trigger MIDI in a DAW?
Intresting...
I try to answer my best.
Option 1. Picaso is talking about Prodigy from Mobb Deep:"Just wondering if anyone makes Prodigy (From Mobb deep) style beats with MPC?

Answer: Havoc makes most of the Mobb Deep beats out there, I believe he uses an MPC 3000. Alchemist who works frequently with Prodigy uses MPC 5000 at the moment (he changes equipment a lot these days). They use the classic methods of MPC beatmaking, nothing special. They use DAW afterwards for mixing and mastering (and they dont do it, but some geeky white guys.(like me))
Option 2. Picaso is talking about the electronic music group "The Prodigy":"Just wondering if anyone makes (The) Prodigy style beats with MPC?
