Just Installed Internal scsi CF Card Reader - pics inside

BTW, the CF-CARD drive is testing faster than the Microtech or Spyrus card readers - a lot faster. Like almost hard drive speed.

That's not the full expanded memory. what you see is 2 1mb simms, which is in the manual. As soon as my 16 mb cards came in the mail, I took out the 2mb card. Thanks for your concern, though.

the mod is ugly. the cables are too long and it looks unprofessional. and 44 dollars are too much for this.

^^^I will agree with you that the internal cabling can use some work. We are getting better measurements on cable length and adjusting the way in which the cabling is done. Over time, we will be able to make a neater, more concise, "prettier" installation.

But you know, once the case is closed, all you see is a fast, inexpensive card reader drive.

As for the price of the install kit, of course you are entitled to your opinion on that issue.

Oh, you are that guy. Well, for anyone brave enough to go at their MPC3000 with a hot soldering iron and a dream, I say go for it. The repair techs have to make a living.

But for those of us who prefer our sampler actually working, there is the kit I sell.

Doesn't anyone use zip-tyes anymore to clean up their cabling? The real benefit of using zip-tyes is to secure everything from wiggling loose.

And once the case is closed, who is going to know?
