Hi, i have an mpc 2500 and i want to be able to apply a compressor to a 'program'. i know you can do it to the master, but i just want to apply it to a program of samples because my drum sounds in another program are already loud enough.

also, i want to know how i can hit a pad and trigger a sample 'one-shot' and then hit another pad and have it cut off the audio of the first pad and trigger the second one.
Ex. hit a piano loop pad. while its playing hit a guitar pad and the piano pad cuts off and plays the guitar pad. i'd like this to be a default setting if possible........... if jjos can do this, i would upgrade. ;p

thanks a lot!

In program u can set the 'cutoff'.
Go to program-> go to params and select the field in the upper right corner which reads poly. Change it to mono.

BTW, the manaul does cover these features.

the fx section about doing the compressor to the program... do i have to change it for each individual pad/sound or can i do it for the entire program all at once. peace
