Just upgraded from the 1000

Hi all, ive just received my mpc 2500 and i cant for the life of me remember how to delete the stock sounds and songs and also with the 1000 i had i downloaded jjos 3.08 for free but cannot for the life of me think were from, thanks for any help

TURN OFF AUTO LOAD....thinks it window button in LOAD SCREEN.....duno if i am right

access your mpc/compact flash card from your pc.

locate a file called : "autoload"

delete that file if it still there.

the stock sounds that are in the mpc 2500 are located accross a couple of folders with the stock sound library.


to be honest with you,id just keep em all.if in case you want to sell on your mpc in years to come...

Hi all i bought an mpc 2500 and i currently own the 1000 but although the 2500 can do more i prefer the 1000 for its mobility so im gonna sell it, its in absolute perfect condition. If anyone's interested let me know. Looking for around £600. I'll get some pics together tomorrow, gonna put it on ebay but just thought i'd ask here first

Because i can take the 1000 anywhere and i didnt realise the 2500 was so big, as soon as it goes on ebay it will sell, it also has maximum ram, os 3.09 and a 60 gig hard drive, it will sell instantly thats why i bought it because i can make money on it

.....well then why would you want to delete the stock sounds so much...and why wojuld u want 2 find out how to download the jjs 3.08 and then you say its already got jjs os 3.09? i cant a legit reason that your selling??? i smell BS

You can smell whatever you like pal, im not getting into some slagging match on the internet. It didnt come with 3.09 i downloaded it and i couldnt care what you think, stop reading my thread. The 2500 will sell straight away, thanks for your time

Hate from ebay sellers is becoming common. Quick to ask for help - although it only helps them make money. And quick to come back with the insults if you question them.

IMO you want to buy gear from someone who actually used it and selling to someone who wants it. ebay is full of profiteers who don't care or know the gear, just the profit.
