Another Sample Question

I understand how to speed my samples up, but how do you filter the intruments out when sampling vocals. I went to settings in the filter screen but when I use them it turns the volume of the sample down. And thats another things, how do you turn the pad volume up outside of doing it the mixer screen?

You can't filter out instruments. You have to find a spot to sample that just has vocals.
