im hopin you guys could help me out here ive got 4keyboards.. and i love jammin everything on my 4k... but ive been to a couple of my buddies houses with their midi oxygen 8 keyboard/vsts and they easily could just move notes around to their liking i wus wondering if i could do the same thing.. or how do you guys do it with your setups????

just guessin but do u guys use a midi patch bay router.. to the mpc and to the computer/soundcard/daw and just use the MPC for drums?? or whatnot

You can simply press WINDOW in SEQ mode while you have note highlighted. Pop-up window will jump out and you will have similar screen like in STEP edit, so guess what... Yea you can edit it here and in STEP edit mode under D: xxx field.

On the main menu change the track parameter from drum to instrument then you can do like piano roll screen. To change the duration hit the window button like shimmy says.

But the 4k has no mouse so I tend to use the step edit more and the sequence edit for drums and qlink editing. However if you are like most of us working with a daw just drag or record your midi sequence into your DAW and edit from there much easier.
