Sorry I forgot to ask this one before.
I was wondering if I can use an external hard drive to store my songs and samples etc.. rather than a compact fash card (MPC1000). I know I can use my mac but I want something more portable. I've heard about folks using ipods but my hard drive doesn't have a screen or user interface like the ipod.
Do I need a screen or will the external just show up on the MPC when I connect it?
