FL Studio

i use fl studio for now.. after i get my own room(next month.. YEAH MOTHER **** lmao), ima get whatever i need and from then, its all mpc and all that

"Changes made in FL will save to the host's file" What this means is you could make presets in your host software, that load up your favorite settings in FL Studio right away.

When using FL as a VSTi in Live I can't use each L / R channel individually, so I'm limited to the 16x2 as stereo only.

You don't need to always mount your drum notes to the step sequencer in FL. You can can get you free/live feel by recording your drums using a midi keyboard/controller. It will not always sound like the MPC swing but you will get good results.

I love FL studio, but is it really so, that after youve recorded your samples (in FPC), you cant change the main swing???? Please somebody help

oh yeah, here is a strange thing I noticed a couple of weeks ago...

every try using the wavecandy thing in the FX pluggin area? well I never even looked at it untill a couple of months ago simply because the name sounded dumb. Anyways, it isn't an effect at all.. it is simply a collection of usefull meters and things.

here is the strange part... put on one of the DB meters on the master channel... pick a big one. anyways now export your song (mp3 or wav it doesn't matter) and you will see the meter going off as though the song is playing at double speed or so.... this is the only meter that does it though, no other mixer one does.

besides that, the meter is useful (nice to have a DB meter with a good size)
