this 2.0 is still buggy.flash rom and hd are slow(my 4000 is still faster) no real time transpose,real time quantize,muilt midi out at the same time(like all other mpcs)random freezing ,ect.akai have u left the 5k already?

Lol, I don't think they "shit" on mpc 5000 owners. Support usually runs for 2-3 years per product. Some news from the company-internals would be appreciated, indeed.

I think they are keeping their mouth shut until the summer NAMM show. I think something for the MPC range is coming. Either a new MPC 1000XL or an upgraded 5k XLl. That or another update to the 5k

If they think the story is finished and don't want to work on one, Akai would do fine setting the OS free for those who could put time in it. Sorry for bumping this issue. I don't know any other constructive suggestion at the moment.

If we want a better OS we should email, call, and harass them constantly. Even try to reach upper management.

actually, i've been trying to find out for about a week or so.
i want to go but i cant find out any info.
on their website, which is not specific, it implies
that you have to be a vendor or something.
