Alright so I made my drum pattern and a synth and saved the sequence. I loaded the same sequence on a DIFFERENT sequence like the same thing on the next sequence over, hope I am saying this right I am a newbie. So on the next sequence I made I added a new synth noise, and I wanted to adjust the volume to be lower, but then if was making my synth from the sequence before go lower and it just made it so that they both stuck together like if I lowered one they both were low and if I raised it they both went up. Is there a way around this or is this one of the bugs cause I am on the v. 1.01 that it came with. Or am I just not doing something right? Thanks.

Are you using an external sound module with the 5K? :? Or are you using the built in synth? I'm not sure I get your question. Can you describe step by step what you did? For example, you recorded a drum pattern on tracks 1-3 than, than you recorded a synth part on track 4. Next you copied sequence 1 to sequence 2, then what did you do? Also are you using the 5K's mixer or an external? Sorry I'm just trying to get a visual of what you did.

Ya I am using the built in sound module and the built in mixer. I made a sequence with my drums and another track with the synth. Then I saved the sequence and I loaded it onto another sequence, like sequence 2 and the original is on sequence 1. Then I would hit the mode and the pad 7 to bring up the mixer and there would just be one track for the mixer, says Synth Mixer. And I would put that level where I wanted it and then when I would go to the next sequence and change my next synth sounds level in the Synth Mixer it kept changing the one from the previous sequence. I think I was doing something wrong cause I just tried it again more and it was working, not sure what I did. Is that Synth Mixer a master for all the synths or does it just effect the synth you have selected? But ya bro sorry I dont know what I did last night but I couldnt get it to do what I wanted then now it is so I am not sure what I was doin. My bad

....in the synth mixer you change the levels for the single synth sounds....over all...so where ever this particular sound is in use, it will have that level.....

the best way to level tracks in a sequence individually is still the old way....use track velocity....

programs are consilidated and have "global settings"(if u will) that remain constant throughout any sequence you use said program in. that being said you can not make a change to program1 for the sake of sequence 1 that will not affect sequence 2- should program1 be in use in sequence 2. you could just copy the program... or you could replicate the synth from scratch going by the parameters in the original synth and just make a new one- you want a quick fix just copy the program and make your changes to the clone.

indeed copy'ing is the way to go.
If I remember well when I last tried this out, copying a Sample Program will only copy the Program (I mean : samples themselves are not copied so are not taking twice the memory)
So you can copy Programs and make adjustments to the settings without eating memory
