First Sample Cutoff When Second Sample Cued

How do I achieve this on a 1000. I wanna hit the first pad, and have the sample cut off when I hit the second pad...etc.

mute groups.

make the pgm MONO instead of POLY... if the samples you want to cut eachother out are in in the same PGM, this will do the trick.

hey all..not to stray off topic...i've been usin my mpc 1000 for quite a while now but i recently found some files tht i used on my 2000XL...i wanna load my .all file on the 1000 but i keep getting an error saying cant execute...file too large...does anyone know how i can fix this? much thnx appreciated
