I bought a 1000 on ebay and I dont have the password to save. Can this be reset or am I screwed? thx

He is kind of screwed... he has to either pay for JJ OS or go back to Akai OS.
The previous owner left JJ OS on in unpaid demo mode, where you can't save.

Unless he´s got a valid JJ OS 1 or 2 license in the box and the previous owner tried out OS2XL before he sold it.
Check the OS version, if it´s OS2XL, try installing OS1 and see if that works. Otherwise buy one of the JJ OS´s, you´ll be wasting your time if you start learning the box thru the Akai OS.

you bought a 1000 with the free version of the JJos. You need a paid version to be able to save. The password doesnt get lost so you can rule that out. Pay for the OS and you will receive a password and be able to save.
