This isn't necessarily a 1k specific question but I imagined this bit of the forum gets the most traffic so here goes.
I recorded some of my frankly dreadful keyboard playing into Logic last night and my left hand needed quantising to 1/4 notes and my right hand needed quantising to 1/16 notes. In Logic this was trivial, select the left hand notes and pick 1/4 note quantise then select the right hand notes and select 1/16 note quantise, job done.
I have owned a few MPCs in the past but don't have one at the moment and never really used them for MIDI input anyway (as samplers instead). So I can't remember if any of the MPCs would allow me to do this or not?
If not, convince me it doesn't matter! I guess in this example I could have just quantised the whole lot to 1/16 notes and shifted the bass notes to 1/4 notes easily by hand ... ?
