how do you like the 02R?
I like it a lot, clean sounding,no noise,Used to have a Mackie 32/8 Analogue desk which I was reluctant to sell, but needed a desk with Automation, and without having to sacrifice the number of inputs I needed,or paying stupid amounts of money for such a desk.
The 02R suited the budget and the specs I needed, had to spend a little extra to get a couple of expansion cards as it had none fitted so it was maxed out to 40 ins, also have the Adat card so I can simply route everything into the 02R and then via Lightpipe into the D16XD with minimal signal loss for recording Tracks, having every mix in the 02R being able to be recalled at the press of a button is very handy.
The only thing I do have an issue with,is for a desk that cost so much When originally built having only 2 FX busses availible over 40 inputs is a little wimpy for such a high spec desk,(The FXs themselves are decent)and it does have parametric EQ and dynamics availible on all channels(including the expansion inputs),having to globally use FX or only on certain channels is a little mean for such a pro desk, although I do utilise the Oasys and D16XD's onboard FX aswell and route them into the desk for processing like a traditonal outboard FX machine.
