has anyone in here sampled from youtube? ive tried it out using my 4000 using the headphone jack converters from rca to headphone jacks to the computer but the sounds on it is crappy..its either really low or really staticky. does anyone in here in a better way to get quality sound recorded? im only turning this route cause im broke. cant afford to buy records or cds everyweek

This is true...

BUT if ya gotta do it I would suggest using YouTube Downloader to digitally rip YouTube and then convert to the highest quality MP3, (That's all it will convert too) then use whatever audio editor you have to convert that MP3 to a Wav then send the Wav to your MPC-4000 via USB.
P.S. the YouTube Downloader is Freeware!

You could just use Audactiy and record. Then import the wav. file via USB to the MPC.

just find a song on youtube then download it. there are many ways to download music for free.. search the name and artist on google and also add "free mp3" or whatever. or, use limewire/frostwire. or you can torrent music, which is good cause you can get a whole album at a time. then you will have a bigger collection of music to sample.
