but on the real-real..... people need 2 start goin back 2 the original equipment that was used in the 80's & early 90's....
everything jus sound so electronic, bland, & generic.......... * jus an old vintage soul, stuck in his old ways *

me too so wake me when akai put that fusion, 4k's engine,5k's o.s. in the mpc500, touchscreen and laptop batteries....in short mbp, duet and mpk61!! :D :D :D

Every 5 mins theres some dude crowning the next 'mpc killa!!!11!'. its like cats forgot midi controllers been out for a minute now. the closest thing to an MPC killer is the Machine but even that still aint close to the same workflow.

honestly, I would be all over the mpk61 if the pads were not 3/4 sized.

and even still , it wouldn't make me give up my mpc for sh1t..
software is great and definitely has more power in many aspects over drum machines and synths and such..
but there is just something about playing a computer to me that just is NOT as intuitive and musical as playing an instrument, and even pads on a drum machine.
