Headphone Input Jack

Okay so I'm hoping to get my MPC 1000 soon and since I'm 16 that'll leave me skint, I'm just wondering if I can use a set of headphones that work with my computer?

I mean they're pretty bad, but I want to use my machine as soon as I get it!

you should be fine. you need to go get a 1/8" to 1/4" headphone adapter.

Could someone recommend a good pair of headphones? Generally cheap but not lacking and/or monitors that're good for the money?

$20 headphones will sound like $20 headphones.

For under $100 you can get the Senheisser HD280's. They BUMP

If you get Studio Monitor Headphones, you won't have to worry about the 1/4 jack.
